Dr. Hangfeng Ji is a technologist and entrepreneur with cross-disciplinary experience in optics, intelligent systems, agricultural technologies, and light-enabled innovation.
He has held senior roles across research, engineering, and technology leadership, including at Philips Research, Hangzhou Honyar Electrical Co. Ltd., and BioLumic. His work has spanned intelligent lighting, plant-related light applications, automation, and selected opportunities where light can create biological, industrial, and strategic value.
At PhotonMark, he focuses on identifying and advancing high-potential applications of light-enabled technologies across multiple domains, including agriculture, controlled-environment systems, intelligent lighting, circadian and sleep-related applications, and other emerging opportunities at the intersection of light, biology, and human experience.
One of his current focus areas is UV trait activation in agriculture, an emerging non-GMO technology path with growing industrial relevance.
